"By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge
the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches." ~Proverbs 24:3-4

Our Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible in its original manuscripts is the inspired Word of God, historically and scientifically accurate, the only revelation of God given to mankind; and our only source of authority in matters of faith, conduct, and truth; and we believe in the spiritual unity of believers who hold to the doctrines and teachings of the Bible. (John 1:1-3, John 17:17, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 21, Deuteronomy 4:2, Ephesians 4:4-6, Romans 15:4-7, Romans 16:17)

  • We believe in one God, eternally existent in three distinct Persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; and that He is all knowing, all powerful, and present everywhere. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, 1 John 5:7, Matthew 10:29-30, John 10:28-30, Revelation 4:8)

  • We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His teachings, His substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father, His personal visible return in power and glory to reign forever; and we believe that He is the perfect expression of God's love for us. (Matthew 1:23, Hebrews 4:14-5, 1 Timothy 3:16, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Mark 16:1-20, Romans 8:34, Revelation 11:15, John 14:1-3).

  • We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and we believe in Jesus Christ's unconditional atonement for our sins. (Romans 3:23-25, Romans 6:23)

  • We believe that by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the believer is enabled to live a godly life, and that by God's grace, through Jesus Christ, we are set free from the bondage of sin. (Romans 8:9, Ephesians 3:16-21, Titus 2:11-14)

  • We believe mankind is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone and not by reason, logic, good works, righteous living, monetary gifts, confirmation, baptism, church membership, being raised in a Christian home, or by simply understanding the principles and beliefs of Christianity. (Ephesians 2:4-10, Titus 3:4-7)

  • We believe the commandments of God given in the Old Testament to be a godly model of how the believer should live his/her life; and that when Christ came He fulfilled the law but He Himself said that He did not do away with it. (Matthew 5:17-7:29)

  • We believe that God is personal and knowable; perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully with the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (Jeremiah 31:3, Jeremiah 29:11-13, Matthew 19:26, Romans 8:38-39, John 3:16)

  • We believe that Satan is a fallen angel masquerading as an angel of light, desiring to destroy mankind through false teachers and worldly lusts. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15, Mark 4:15,19)

  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved, resurrected to eternal life. Those who reject Christ's free gift of eternal life, to a resurrection of damnation in the lake of fire. (Acts 24:15, Revelation 20:10, Revelation 21:8, Matthew 13:49-50)

  • We believe that salvation from sin, death and hell is by God's grace, which is freely given to anyone who personally places his confidence in Jesus; that the only way to get into Heaven is through a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus; and that a truly born-again believer is forever secure in Christ. (John 14:6, Psalm 84:12, John 14:12-21)

If you are a Non-Believer, please read this:

Our faith is a reasonable faith. Miracles do not contradict science. God created time, matter, energy, and space. He transcends and is outside of all these. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is by far the most attested event from antiquity. Scoffers and skeptics are biased against this truth. Their own desire to live as they please without the knowledge of God corrupts their reasoning. It closes their hearts to the pleading of the Holy Spirit calling them to salvation. The enemy of mankind has blinded them and desires their destruction. "For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed." (John 3:20)

If you are not convinced of the above facts, we urge you to read one or more of the following eye-opening books written by former athiests: Reasonable Faith: The Scientific Case for Christianity by Dr. Jay L Wile; The Case for Christ, The Case for Faith, and The Case for a Creator by Lee Stroebel; Surprised by Faith by Dr. Don Bierle; Mere Christianity and The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis.

I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: "I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept His claim to be God." That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic - on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg - or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God; or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronising nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to. ~C.S. Lewis

    Pascal's Wager

Blaise Pascal (1623-1662) was a famous mathematician as well as a great Christian thinker. Pascal developed many arguments in favor of the existence of God. Pascal's Wager is a common sense analysis of the benefits and consequences of belief or unbelief in the existence of God.

When it comes to God's existence, there are two possibilities: either God exists or God does not exist. In terms of our response, there are also two possibilities: either we believe in God or we don't.

If God does not exist, and we wager that he does (by believing), then we lose nothing, since, presumably, there is no afterlife or eternal reward or punishment for belief or unbelief.

If God does exist, however, and offers us the free gift of eternal life, and we wager that he does not (by unbelief), then we risk losing everything by spending eternity separated from God.

If God does exist, and we wager that he does, then we potentially gain eternal life and happiness.

Therefore, a reasonable person who even considers the possibility that God exists to be about 50-50 should wager that He does, since that person stands to lose nothing and gain everything; whereas the person who wagers that God does not exist stands to gain nothing (if God does not exist), or lose everything (if God does exist).

It should be noted that Pascal also held that the possibility of God's existence was much greater than a 50-50 chance.

While this is not a proof for God's existence, it does demonstrate the seriousness of the consequences of either belief or unbelief which everyone ought to carefully consider.

If you seek to know Christ, please read this:

Do you want to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? It's as easy as asking Him to come into your heart and life. If you would like to receive Christ's free gift of eternal life and know Jesus as your personal savior, friend and Lord, or if you are unsure whether you truly are born again we urge you to pray this simple prayer:

"Jesus, I know that I have sinned and that you have died to forgive me of my sins. I want to know You and have a personal relationship with You. Please come into my heart, and make me a new creation in You. Amen."

Finally, we encourage you to read the Gospel of John in the New Testament of the Holy Bible and let the Holy Spirit reveal Jesus Christ to you.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." ~John 3:16
